Mr. Riter, a shareholder of the firm, began his career as a law clerk for Chief
Judge Lisle Thomas Woodford in the First Judicial District
for the State of Colorado. In January 2002, Mr. Riter joined
Baldwin Morgan & Rider and he practices in the areas of
general civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance
coverage, professional liability defense and commercial
litigation.
Mr. Riter has extensive experience in both the federal and
state courts of Colorado and has served as national counsel
overseeing litigation in jurisdictions outside of Colorado.
He successfully handles cases at both the trial and
appellate levels and represents clients in all alternative
dispute resolution forums. Mr. Riter also counsels
clients on insurance compliance issues.
